Our Big Picture  (2016)

  • Learned about changes in FASD diagnostic guidelines
  • Learned about the FASD health survey and transitioning to adulthood. 
  • Learned about the difference between developmental and chronological age for someone with FASD
  • Learned about coping with caregiver burnout
  • Learned how to work on sensory issues associated with FASD
  • Networked and liaised with families and professionals

Finding Our Way (2015)

Cover_Page.png The 8th Annual FASD Collaboration Roundtable Fall Conference: Finding Our Way was successfully held on Saturday, November 28th, 2015 at Douglas College in New Westminster! Conference participants:
  • Learned about successful actions and supports to recognize individual differences in people with FASD and how adapt in response.
  • Learned about how FASD pocket cards were developed, and when and how to use them. 
  • Learned practical supports for addressing behaviour that arises from anxiety and frustration.
  • Networked and liaised with families and professionals

 Untangling Anxiety (2014)

  Untangling Anxiety Cover The 7th Annual Fall FASD Conference: Untangling Anxiety was successfully held on Saturday, November 22nd, 2014 at Douglas College in New Westminster! Conference participants:
  • Learned about emerging knowledge of anxiety as it relates to individuals with FASD and their caregivers
  • Learned about current practices and supports available for individuals living with FASD who also  experience anxiety
  • Learned self care strategies for caregivers and support professionals who experience anxiety while  supporting individuals with FASD
  • Networked and liaised with families and professionals

Understanding Trauma (2013) 

  2013 Conference
The 6th Annual FASD Fall Conference: Understanding Trauma, has been an official success!  Held on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at Douglas College in New Westminster, the event brought together a record number of service providers, family members and individuals with FASD.  Thank you to all 290 registrants, as well as presenters, sponsors, and partnering agencies!

Seeking Mental Health (2012)
