Why We Exist: The Asante Centre is committed to supporting individuals of all ages with neurodevelopmental disabilities, and their families, reach their full potential. We do that through quality assessment and diagnostic services, speech-language and occupational therapy, education, resource access and development, peer mentorship, and research. We specialize in brain-based disabilities such as autism, fetal alcohol spectrum disorder (FASD), and other complex disorders influenced by a range of early trauma, prenatal stress, mental health, or genetics. We value respect, integrity, and collaboration in all our work.

Skills You Have: Families with neurodevelopmental disabilities deserve the best possible care. This means that you have a supportive and compassionate mind-frame, balanced with amazing skills in electronic record-keeping, organization, and critical thinking. We will train you on our systems and other details of our Centre’s work, but you already have a passion for people, detail, and learning in a fast-paced environment. You have a heart for non-profit work, and strive to bring your best to every task. You are comfortable working with diverse people, from pre-schoolers to youth and adults with unique special needs. You are excited to work with community members, as well as our amazing clinical and staff team members.

Where You’ll Work: The Asante Centre currently has two main offices, one in Maple Ridge, and one in Surrey (Newton). This position can be achieved at either location, or both, as determined most appropriate by the Centre and the successful candidate.
