Allison Wong

Director

Allison started her career as an educator in the public school system in both northern BC and the Lower Mainland before entering the field of developmental disabilities with a specialization in fetal alcohol spectrum disorder (FASD). Allison has bachelor’s degrees in art (History and English) and education, and a Master of Arts Degree in Business Leadership. She has over 20 years of experience in FASD-related initiatives, including 13 years at The Asante Centre in progressive management positions. Allison currently works for the Ministry of Children and Family Development in the Strategic Integration, Policy and Legislation Division, and is passionate about creatively and collaboratively addressing complex social issues to support healthy communities. Allison has been on the Board of Directors since January 2023.
