Dr. Amanda LaMarre
Amanda K. LaMarre, Ph.D., R. Psych., completed her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at The University of British Columbia with a focus on Neuropsychology (the study of the how the brain controls thinking and behaviour). Dr. LaMarre then went on to complete a three-year post-doctoral fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco in the department of Neurology. During her fellowship, Dr. LaMarre’s clinical and research activities focused on evaluating and understanding the earliest cognitive, emotional and social changes in individuals with neurodegenerative syndromes. Over the course of her career, she has worked in a variety of settings, with clients with diverse backgrounds and needs. Dr. LaMarre’s role at the Asante Centre is to work within the context of the multi-disciplinary team to provide quality clinical care in the form of comprehensive Psychoeducational and Neuropsychological assessments.
