Assessment Clinician

Dana Dmytro is an assessment clinician with particular interest in child and youth mental health, children and youth with complex needs, and fetal alcohol spectrum disorder. Dana has been with Asante Centre since 2015 and completed a Masters level internship training specializing in the assessment of FASD and complex developmental behavioural conditions. She completed her undergraduate degree in psychology and graduate training in school psychology at the University of British Columbia. Dana’s research experience includes studies of recoveries from alcoholism, factors of resilience and thriving in children’s transition to school, perspectives on verbal deception, and the impact of gender norms on adolescent boys’ development. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, yoga, cultural festivals and watching films.
